This is a good set of cameras for making sure your property is covered. I have another brand of outdoor camera on the front of my house so that’s what I’m judging these against. These offer a decent picture quality and I love that you can manually rotate them if you want a live view of something. That’s something my legacy camera doesn’t offer. But as far as the alerts go I was hoping for something more robust. There are people and non-people (dogs in my case) notifications, but nothing for sounds alone. I know there would be a ton of them but a times there’s an odd noise outside I appreciate it. These are pretty easy to set up, but do be aware these require a hub to be hardwired into your router. I wasn’t expecting that and I’m not super jazzed about it. I wasn’t expecting hoping I could just let the cameras access my WiFi and handle them that way. There’s also a lag when accessing the live video feed for a camera. It’s not huge, just enough to be annoying. But otherwise these seem pretty responsive and I’m glad I’m able to keep eyes around my house. I feel these are a good solid addition to your home to increase your security. Are they the best? No, but at a sale price point of $439 they’re a good deal. Would I pay the retail of $699 for them? No. But at the cheaper price I’d recommend them.

Got this setup a few weeks ago and honestly it's been pretty good. Cameras were easy to install and I like not having wires running everywhere. The solar charging works better than I thought it would too.

Video quality is clear day and night, and the motion detection actually picks stuff up without going off nonstop. The tracking feature is nice for keeping an eye on the yard.

Best part for me is no monthly fees. Just set it up and use it. Overall I think it’s a good system for the price and does what I need it to do.

I've been using Soliom cameras for years and have always loved them, but this is my first time installing their 6-camera solar security system. These cameras are built incredibly well-my older Soliom cameras are still going strong even in the intense Arizona heat.

The setup was simple, even for a 73‑year-old lady. I used to have a wired security system before discovering Soliom, and it really limited where I could place the cameras. With a large yard, I need to see every corner. These wireless solar cameras give me complete freedom to put them anywhere I need, and now I can see everything clearly.

The night vision is excellent, and the motion detection works exactly the way it should. It alerts me right away if someone is in my yard, which gives me real peace of mind. For anyone who needs reliable, flexible outdoor security-especially in tough weather-this system is a fantastic choice.

I want to give this 5 stars because the video quality and ease of use is great. I have the 4-pack Soliom system which works well with very well designed mounts. The 6-camera pack is a different design and the solar panels have no reliable method of mounting on the cameras and no instructions of how to do so. There is a very small, eyeglasses type screw, to mount one of the three holes of the solar mount to the camera, but is flat washer screw and the mount is a tapered hole, and it screws into soft plastic. So, one jewelers screw to hold the solar mount and when fully tightened the solar mount wobbles and can be pulled off with little effort. There is no way to screw down the other two holes of the mount. Why is the 6-pack mounting different than the 4-pack? The cameras are the same and the hub is identical. My guess is they are trying to sell off the inventory of poorly designed cameras so packaging them as discounted 6-pack cameras. Returning this and buying a couple of the 4-pack systems.

So let me start by saying, that if you live in a community where houses are close together, installing all six cameras may be an issue, as it was for me. Because of the proximity of other houses in the community, county laws (regarding cameras facing neighbors windows), and HOA requirements, I was only able to install 2 of the cameras so far. I would also recommend getting some very strong tree screws/nails, because in my case I couldn't attach them to the vinyl siding on the house, but I was able to find two trees that receive direct sunlight, that covers my front and backyard. These cameras work exactly as they are described, 360° tracking of any movement, clarity of the images, dual band wi-fi, and the best bonus... no required monitoring fees or subscriptions. They're pretty sturdy cameras, install and set up was a bit difficult for me, I had to enlist some help, battery life depends on how much direct sunlight hits them, so far, zero issues. You have complete control over the notifications and privacy of your recordings. This is a must have system.
